Throughout my life, I have always loved the weather. From attempting to draw reflectivity images on kids' toys to attempting to run "news broadcasts" at my house during severe weather, I have always been deeply interested in the weather and how it affects our daily lives. From that childhood passion, two tornadic experiences only deepened my interest in the atmospheric sciences. Even more so, however, these experiences helped me to realize the real-life significance of understanding these powerful phenomena and better-preparing communities to deal with those threats. It is my goal to, in whatever position, combine this passion with a growing academic understanding of weather and climate systems to take place in the life-saving work of meteorology after college. 

 

Currently, I am a first-year student in Atmospheric Sciences and Geography at UGA. I look forward to these next four years and the upcoming journey to becoming a more informed meteorologist and individual.

 

Outside of school, I love Church, UGA, the Braves, serving others, and hanging out with my dogs.
