My name is Hanna Medler, I am third-year undergraduate student at the University of Georgia. In pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Science, majoring in Atmospheric Science. Since attending the university, I have grown an interest in Broadcast Meteorology, specifically during severe weather events. I originally come from Long Island, New York, and plan to return home in Fall of 2025 in order to pursue a career in broadcasting. In the future, I would like to complete a CCM (Certified Consulting Mertorlogist) as well as a CBM (Certified Broadcast Mertorlogist) training through the American Meteorological Society. I hope to use these certifications to advance my broadcasting career and interest in consulting by becoming an expert in the application of weather information to a host of practical challenges
