My Story
I am a second-year undergraduate student at the University of Georgia. In pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Science, I am majoring in Atmospheric Science with the addition of Studio Art and Geography minors. Since attending the university, I have grown an interest in Severe Weather Forecasting and Broadcast Meteorology, and I hope to further explore a career within these fields. In the future, I would like to work for the NWS Storm Prediction Center office as a severe weather forecaster. On the other hand, I dream of being a Meteorologist for WSB-TV News located in Atlanta, Georgia.
The chaotic beauty of the weather has pulled my curiosity for as long as I can remember. From waking up at the crack of dawn to hear the daily high and low to eagerly watching a storm brew down the road, I could not keep my attention from it. That magnetic attraction is what brought me to the University of Georgia and its largely recognized Atmospheric Science program that I’ve enjoyed ever since.
When I am not in my studies or getting lost in the clouds, I devote my time to art, audio visual work, and hanging out with friends and family.
