From a young age, I have always been attracted to meteorology. Ever since I was young, my family has instilled these ideas in me. Rather it was our “Tornado” parties that we would have at our house when there were bad storms approaching, or if it were the countless summer breaks that I stayed in my room and watched the weather channel the whole day. It has always been a part of my life, even if it was not my main priority at the time.

I came into the University of Georgia with the intention of majoring in music, as that was my priority through all of middle school and high school. Like many people, I decided I needed a change, and once I committed myself to Atmospheric Sciences in the spring of 2022, I have not looked back. Now I am a second year Atmospheric Science major, and I intend on graduating in the spring of 2025. Any time I am not doing coursework, you might find me at the gym, at one of the many dining halls on the University of Georgia campus, or online playing video games.
