Welcome!
Thank you so much for visiting my page! As a student Meteorologist, I strive to make dependable forecasts for the North Georgia community. Below you can learn a little more about me. I'm happy you're here!
My Story
Fortunately, I've always had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted to do in my career. In 2011, my hometown of Ringgold, Georgia was hit by an EF-4 tornado. I knew 12 years ago that weather would forever fascinate me. When I go back there even today, I can still see the faint path of destruction.

I made my way to the Atmospheric Sciences program at the University of Georgia in Fall 2021, and I knew instantly that I made the right decision. I've learned how to put myself out there and get comfortable with the uncomfortable. I intend to pursue a career forecasting off-camera, whether it be with the National Weather Service or working for an airline, but the idea of broadcasting sounds really exciting! I've had lots of experience creating graphics and helping produce broadcasts, so it's definitely something I'm interested in. Regardless, I aim to improve my skills on communicating weather effectively, and I am willing to try everything I can.

When I'm not on campus, I love to travel and to be outdoors. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about new cultures. I've been fortunate to see some really cool countries, and I hope to continue that throughout my life.
